Description: Marx Pressed Steel Sit N’ Ride Childs Ride on Fire Truck 31” - 1950’s Toy Truck - This is a very cool classic toy sit n' ride fire truck from the 1950's- The truck is in overall very good condition with some light wear from age and normal use - The original paint and lithographs are in very good condition with some light scratches, scuffs, and imperfections here and there- The truck looks to be mostly complete, but I'm not sure if it would have originally had side mounted ladders. It is missing the little fender decoration by the rear wheel on the passenger side, but it is present on the driver's side of the truck- The truck rolls smoothly and the steering wheel can be used to turn the front wheels- The truck features a metal seat for a child to sit on top of the truck and steer it- The truck is sturdy and constructed of mostly pressed steel with some molded plastic components- The original wheels are in very good condition with minimal wear- This truck measures about 31" long This vintage Marx pressed steel ride-on fire truck is in very good original condition. It would make a great display piece in a collection of vintage toy trucks or could be used for its intended purpose for a child to enjoy.
