Martin Committee 1945 Medium Bore, Lacquered Brass, Warburton Mouthpiece, Case

Description: Please find an excellent condition vintage medium bore lacquered brass professional 1945 Martin Committee model Bb trumpet with Warburton 2 piece screw on 2M cup with #8 shank mouthpiece. Also included is an Ultra Pure Deluxe Cleaning Kit, 4oz spray bottle of lacquer polish, and a good condition non pro Conn case.The horn was produced in Elkhart, Indiana serial number 151994 yielding manufacturer date to approximately 1945. The bore size is Martin's #2 medium bore. The bell diameter measures 4.75". What few small dings the horn had were gently removed. There remains a few subtle but hard to picture areas of previous ding removal. The instrument has been chem cleaned and thoroughly cleaned inside and out. The horn was then ultrasonically cleaned and polished. The lacquer is about 96% fabulous with a few blemishes(please see pictures) and has a beautiful sheen. A few areas that had minor lacquer pitting was touched up so the blemish would not worsen with time. A 4 oz spray bottle of Music Nomad Lacquer Polish is included as well as an Ultra Pure Deluxe Cleaning Kit. All new valve stem corks/felts, and water key corks. Also new O rings for the 3rd valve slide for quiet changes. Excellent port alignment. The 3rd valve finger ring adjustment moves freely without drag. Excellent valve speed and compression. The case is an average non pro Conn case in great condition for its age. Probably would work well for gig work. The latches open easily and secure the horn nicely. The case has been thoroughly cleaned inside and out using a hospital grade disinfectant. The Warburton silver plated 2M screw on mouthpiece and #8 shank looks new and is also in excellent condition with no shank wear. The horn will be thoroughly hand polished again the day before shipping. It will be clean, shiny, sanitized, valves oiled, slides lubricated and ready to play right out of the box.
