Description: Marquette Golden Eagles Team Signed Autographed The Rock Basketball 1997 Chris Crawford Anthony Pieper & 11 More Players The 1996-97 Marquette men's basketball team completed its regular season with a victory over Houston in March, 1997, at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. They went on to win their conference tournament and qualify for the NCAA Tournament. Thirteen members of that Marquette team signed this basketball, including future NBA player Chris Crawford (signed with number 5). Mrs. Edna believes the other player signatures are: 3 - Anthony Pieper 4 - John Cliff 10 - Marcus West 12 - Aaron Hutchins 20 - Abel Joseph 21 - Mike Bergen 25 - Zachary McCall 32 - Bart Miller 34 - Richard Shaw 40 - Faisal Abraham 42 - John Polonowski 45 - Jarrod Lovette There is a hand printed inscription that reads: Marquette vs. Houston March 2, 1997 - The Bradley Center Sponsored by Coca-Cola The ball is a "The Rock" model and has a traditional textured cover along with white panels that feature the player's signatures in black and blue or purple permanent markers. Note: there is no certificate of authenticity with this item. The ball is in close to very good pre-owned condition. It holds its shape well without having to over inflate it. There are some signs of wear from age and storage, which includes but is not limited to scuff/scratch marks and other spots/marks. Please see my pictures, they are part of the description.
