Description: Marklin HO Scale Trains - Track - Transformers - Steel Poles for Electric Engine - The previous owner of this package was a doctor and his estate donated it to a Historical Railroad Museum. The Museum specializes in O gauge trains so the entire package I purchased has been stored in their climate controlled storage area. They put it up for sale to clear room in their storage area. I will include as many photos as possible. The box is weathered and has numerous signs of wear. What seems unique is the picture on the top of the carton looks like it is separate and was glued on. This set needs a good cleaning. Here is an review of what is in this offering:Electric Engine - I applied power in various ways and could not get it to run. It looks like the silver paint cracked off one corner of the roof. Overall finish and graphics are good. It has all 4 bumpers and all six ladders or stirrups. It has 2 couplers. 2 Coach Cars - These look to be from different sets because the metal bases on both cars is different than the bases on the 4 rolling stock cars. Both cars look to be in good shape having all of their couplers, stirrups, and bumpers. The car with the silver roof seems to have some scratches in its finish. The car with the gray roof also has a scratch in the number 2. 4 additional cars - These cars have all of their couplers and bumpers. The finishes look good as well as most of the graphics. The tanker has one of the ESSO logos slightly scratched.15 pieces of metal curved track have all of their metal connections. A couple of pieces have blue paint on the track bed.1 piece of curved track with connecting wires.12 pieces straight track - Have all of their metal connections.2 Marklin Transformers - 1 transformer looks to be older and has the original carton. The plug on this unit is missing the covering. The newer unit has some faded writing over the different connections. Both units are untested.15 metal poles with extensions and 10 straight poles and 2 pairs of overhead wire frogs.
