Description: This uncirculated 2 Liri Malta note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Malta. It is a red note that is dated L.1967 (1994), bears the signature of Michael Bonello, and measures 138 x 66.5 mm. Its obverse side features a bank coat of arms, doves as registration devices, United Nations emblem, standing Malta holding a rudder and Roman mosaic designs. Its reverse side shows Banka Guratali buildings in Rabat, Gozo and Mdina, doves and shield with a crown. Security features include a windowed security thread and a watermark of female head with a fortress as crown. This note was demonetized on 31 January 2018.
