Malna is about the peril of a beauty through the eyes of a 12 year old kid named Renato. He experiences three things on the same day, beginning of war, getting a bike and sees the arrival of Malna in town. Through his eyes, we see the curse of beauty and loneliness of Malena, whose husband is presumed to be dead, and through his soul we see his love for her. This import contains the uncut, uncensored Italian cut of the film. When the film was released in the U.S. it was heavily cut by Miramax Pictures and that is still the only cut available in this country. Keep in mind, this two-disc set is Region-3 and will not play on a standard U.S. player. You must have an all-region player to view it! No refunds or returns if you cannot play this disc!
