Description: Stunningly beautiful, antique, Singer treadle sewing machine head model 27 , decorated in the superb Sphinx or Egyptian decals dates 1909 by serial number D814068. Cosmetic condition is superb, 115 years old , runs fantastic, smooth, sews a perfect stitch and the entire machine is in the kind of condition you rarely see on these antiques. To really see the condition in my photos please look at the bobbin winder and look at the perfect bed decal! The gorgeous, deep gold Sphinx decals are in 100% intact condition with no fading of color, the black lacquer paint in beautiful shiny condition showing extremely light wear , even the sewing side edge looks perfect. The handwheel, bobbin winder, tensioner, slide plates and front and side ornate covers are again in the finest condition with no wear . Tensioner spring in excellent condition. It's amazing to see a machine like this that is in such amazing condition after 115 years. . And so beautiful to look at! We sewed many stitches, all functions operating perfectly and is ready to install in your favorite cabinet and sew!
