So these are the McGregor custom irons they’re basically the McGregor VIP irons with different stamping. These ones are stamped Jack Nicholas, and they have a DB stamp on there that could be a pros name and initials or it could be just a customer who ordered these through the McGregor custom shop no way of knowing. this particular set has wear and signs of use the shafts need a polish and they have a satin finish on the heads and the six iron and up shows some sweet spot wear. They’ve been in storage for 30 years in a bag in a basement and have some residue on the heads and shaft so they’ll need a quick wipe down or polish The ferrules have this residue on them that comes off when I scrape it with a fingernail Grips are cords and have hardened but some of them still have a little rubber feel. I played a round with these and the clubs feel great 38.5” from heel to grip end of 5 iron. Still has paintfill on the scoring areas on some of these Beautiful set from from a collection I just purchased from a long time collector of high-end golf equipment.
