Description: This is a rare unused 1916 advertising blotter promoting FARMERS NATIONAL BANK in Wakefield, Nebraska. The blotter features Goldwyn Pictures silent film star MABEL NORMAND on the left side. The legendary actress, comedienne and director was best known as the most famous of MACK SENNETT's performers at Keystone Studios and eventually his love interest. Their film careers and relationship were the subject of the Original Broadway production of the JERRY HERMAN and MICHAEL STEWART musical love story "MACK & MABEL" which played New York's Majestic Theatre. (The production opened October 6th, 1974 and ran for only 66 performances.) .....
