This volume was withdrawn from a library and retains the usual stamps, stickers, and paste-downs. The dust jacket is lacking; some foxing is in evidence. All six portraits are present,* as is the tissue guarding the frontispiece. The label, bearing the title and the author's name, has suffered some loss, and the gilt top is heavily faded.
