Description: I own a specialty advertising company, now in our 44th year in business. For much of that time as well for many years prior to establishing my own company, what was formerly "The Bell System" was our best account. After divestiture and it was broken up, we continued doing business with Southern Bell, BellSouth, OFS, Lucent Technologies, Avaya, etc. Over the years I collected a great deal of items with all of the above logos / many one-of-a-kind samples. We are now semi-retired and selling some of our collection. We sold Lucent many wearables. Frequently I would see a style from one of my clothing suppliers, order a sample and have my embroiderer make a one-of-a-kind sample. I would then show the special sample to several Lucent customers in the hope that they would buy others. Sometimes that worked; sometimes it did not. Here is an example of when it did not. This very nice ladies long sleeve button front shirt is by a fine supplier called Dunbrooke. This example is from their upscale line called "Distinctive Images". It is in navy with green trim, which I found to be attractive. As a sample I had the shirt embroidered with a one color Lucent Technologies logo in green to match the trim. The material is 100% cotton, with a nice hand. The Lucent logo embroidered in the left chest position. A very distinctive look. As mentioned, it was a one-of-a-kind sample I had produced, and never used. It is in as new condition with no flaws, etc. The size is a ladies large, with approximate measurements of: 21" across the shoulders 23" under the arm pit23" sleeve 28.5" from the neck to the bottom Features include button front, pocket, button down collar, multi-button cuff and extra buttons. As mentioned, the color is navy with green trim. However, in one of my photos it almost appears lighter blue, but it is not. It was quality made in China to Dunbrooke's specifications. Oh yes, the reason Lucent Technologies did not buy this garment - They thought the green logo too subtle and too far afield from their usual red and white or red and black logo. Frankly, that it is different to me is the main reason to buy this shirt. They disagreed and the customer is always right... So there are no others out there, yours will be unique.
