This version of the coin is similar to the 100 years special edition purple helmet that was worn by LSU in 2018 as a tribute to the “Silent Season” of 1918. That was the year when LSU did not field a team due to World War I. This coin recognizes the United States military (Department of defense), Police, Fire and EMS personnel!!! ”Thank you for your service” This coin also recognizes the 1958, 2003 and 2007 NCAA football national championship seasons / teams. This is a beautiful and well put together coin that is detailed and very heavy. It would definitely make an awesome display piece. The coin stand shown in the photos is not included. Note: The coin is listed as used, because it shows some minor cosmetic imperfections, as most challenge coins usually do. You may see some minor painting errors or handling wear.
