Description: A large Italian carved wood nativity standing camel figure. It was made by Otto Comploj in the Tyrol region of Italy, and is beautifully detailed and hand painted. The camel is just over 15.5 inches tall, approximately 14.5 inches long from nose to tail, and is in excellent pre-owned condition with just some very minor wear. In one picture I've put this camel with a 10-inch camel driver figure (this listing is for the camel only) which it looks good with. If you're intending to add this to your existing nativity, please note the size for scale. I am listing an incredible collection of top-quality Italian wood nativity figures from multiple makers, including Anri, Pema, Lepi, and more. The figures were lovingly collected over the years by a single owner. All of the figures were made in the Val Gardena region of Italy which has long been famous for its wood carving.
