Description: Sand sample collected from Lowers or Trestles Surf Beach in San Onofre State Beach located in northern San Diego County in California. This sand is a darker color with large course grains. Trestles is a worlds renowned surf spot and a popular destination for people from all over the world. This beach has fine sand above the water's edge, large grain sand at the water's edge and large rocks in the water. This sand was collected from the water's edge. There is approximately 2 tablespoons (tbsp) or 30 milliliters (ml) in each 2x3 bag. Great purchase to add to your collection of minerals, sand, gravel, rocks, pebbles or other geological items. Great for educational use in the classroom or school, Christmas villages, model trains, arts & crafts, ceremonial, spiritual, religious, funerals and so much more.
