Description: A sublime antique Victorian Etruscan solid 15k gold garnet cabochon floral ring, dating to circa 1880. This gorgeous antique Victorian solid 15k rose and yellow gold ring looks to have started life off as a stick pin, the ring with a wonderful solid 15k yellow gold Etruscan revival floral head displaying a fabulous bezel-set foiled back garnet cabochon which glows a pretty purple-pink when it touches the light, the garnet surrounded by lovely floral rope twist and circle decorations with further gold rope twist around the edge, the ring with a pretty solid 15k warm rose gold band. The band is stamped '15CT'. Both the band and head test for 15K gold. The ring measures approximately a size 7 1/4. The ring measures about 10mm across the face. The garnet measures approximately 5mm across. The ring rises approximately 8mm above the finger and weighs about 2.1 grams. The ring is in very good condition with all over general wear, the garnet has some scratches and scuffs seen under a loupe. Thanks for looking and please take a look at my other items!
