Description: Louis Raemaekers WW1 Cartoon - Devil and Crucifix Frontispiece Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class Large Letter. Louis Raemaekers was a Dutch anti-war cartoonist whose style is bleak and somewhat disturbing. Definitely an acquired taste and not to everyone’s liking. This is a frontispiece from a collection, which I believe was published in the 1920’s. Its condition is commensurate with its age; having some quite severe fogging and some minor tears around the edges. It measures 15” x 11.5” (38.3 x 29 mm approx.) on glossy calendared paper. This is quite brittle owing to age. I will combine postage costs as appropriate.
