Description: Lou Piniella 2001 AL Manager of the Year Bobblehead This bobblehead features former Seattle Mariners manager Lou Piniella and commemorates his 2001 AL Manager of the Year Award. This bobblehead comes in its original box, but is listed as used because it may have previously been displayed. It is in great used condition. There may a couple of minor discolorations, but there are no significant or notable imperfections. It will be shipped securely using packing peanuts and/or bubble wrap. Piniella played in the Major Leagues from 1964 to 1984 predominantly with the Kansas City Royals and New York Yankees and garnered the nickname Sweet Lou. His managerial career began with the Yankees and continued to Cincinnati and then Seattle from 1993 to 2002, and ultimately the Tampa Rays and Chicago Cubs. Piniella was the Rookie of the Year as a player in 1969 and a three-time World Series Champion, twice as a player and once as a manager.
