Description: This listing is for 1 ball of Lotus Yarns Sunset line in color #258, lot 118. This is a variegated yarn in soft shades of lavender and grey. I have been working with their cashmere for years and am now sharing their other lines. Sunset is 70% merino wool and 30% soybean. It has a rope-like construction, not plied. I found this yarn easy to work with and true to recommend needle size for gauge. The hat shown (different color) was made on size 6 needles and used 1/2 a ball of yarn. Each ball has 131 yards. I would call this a light Worsted weight.
