Description: Lot Of Vietnam Era US Army Photos 1960s New Cumberland PA Radiation Tests Geiger Counter. Mostly 8X10 original photos- Most are not identified but a lot are stamped on the back that theyre from the US Army Depot in New Cumberland PA. Quite a few of them seem to be radiation related- I believe they are photos of training being done- Some show a Geiger counter being used, a soldier being tested for radiation contamination, one seems to show where radiation would travel if Pittsburgh was hit by a nuclear bomb. One shows a group of officers “Industrial Defense & Disaster Planning, US Army Military Police School, Fort Gordon GA.” I see men with “CBR” Arm bands on, and some say US Army Material Command. One is a reprint of a 1918 photo showing a flag raising at New Cumberland. Also included are a bunch of training and other certificates and some paperwork from the man these all belonged to originally. There are a couple older photos in here as well. Nice lot. Most are in nice shape some have a little wear. They do smell a bit musty though. Free shipping M-2
