Description: For your consideration is a lot of four (4) German antique turkey figurines, perfect for holiday place settings or decor. I estimate these to be approximately one hundred years old. Upon close inspection, two are stamped Germany on the bottom of their cardboard disc stand. These will look awesome on your holiday dinner table, or other decoration. The bodies appear to be made of some sort of chalkware, plaster or paper machet, with metal legs and feet and cardboard bases. They are hand-painted. At least two of the figurines have been reattached to their cardboard disc bases. These have clearly enjoyed use over the decades, and not hidden away in some shoebox or China cabinet. Given their nearly century old age and enjoyment, each displays some measure of paint and/or mater loss. This does not detract from their wonderful appearance, but rather gives them historical character. What stories these could tell, if only they could talk. Might be the basis for a classic children’s book. For maximum protection, shipping is by USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Large Box.
