Description: Lot of 50 Different Vintage "White" MTG Cards, Historic Magic the Gathering, MTG I started playing Magic the Gathering back in 1994. Unfortunately Alpha, Beta, Unlimited, Arabian Nights, Antiquities and Legends were gone from the stores and difficult to get single cards of. Revised was easy to get in my area and I was earning good money at the time and I went crazy buying cards. I continued buying massive amounts of cards for a number of years and then slowed down and eventually somewhat stopped. I still continued to buy a pack (or more) from time to time. It is time for me to "Cull the Herd" (ok, well past time). What I'm doing to "Cull the Herd" is putting together groups of 50 different cards of the same color or that at least has a casting cost of that color in it. The cards in the lots will be older cards from random sets of Revised and onward. I'm making a point of them being only one of each card so buyers can have a sampling of the older cards and possibly see some they have not seen or known about before. Buyers may find that a single previously unknown card will be great to finish off a deck or of course they may wish to purchase more of them from their regular supplier (please do not contact me for specific cards). The 2nd photo is from the first group of these I sold. Sorry, as I don't have time to be taking lots of photos or rewriting this listing each time I list, you can only assume the photo represents card possibilities and not necessarily exactly what you'll be getting. As to card commonality; My cards are sorted alphabetically by color into numerous boxes. They are sorted in a way that tells me which among the older sets that didn't use silver and gold coloring are commons, uncommons and rares. So yes, I do generally know what the commonality is as I'm grabbing them but as I really don't have the time or inclination to sell lower cost cards individually, and I really have to cull some of these cards, I'm just grabbing one from each of the larger groups of multiples I have as I go through a box. As such they will mostly be commons and because I really don't want people to be unhappy with their purchase, there will be at least 1 rare (possibly more) and 1 uncommon (possibly more). This is not to say I'm an idiot, there will not be any Power 9 cards or other extremely expensive cards that I may notice. Each group I make will be made quickly as/when/if I get time to do it. It is possible that because I don't have the time to check the prices on the cards that there may well be one or a few cards together that are worth more than the price for the group but I make no guarantees of that. What is the likelihood that if you purchase a second group of cards that they will be the same as the first group you bought? Most likely they will be all different from the first group but again, no guarantees. What is the likelihood of getting Revised cards in the group? Since that is the series I probably have the most of, very good. But no guarantees. Makes a great Gift. Buy Yours Today! Notice: This is not a smoke free home.
