Description: Lot Of 4 CLEVELAND PRESS+PLAIN DEALER Special Sections/Newspapers 50's-70's Ppd I am sure my mother read these but then put them away for the future. Then again the storage probably did not stop the aging process. They are nice condition still and very readable. Since I was born there and grew up there until the VN War changed my life (and so many others). I can still identify with some of these news-papers' stories. The first one about 75 years before the Press printing date of Nov. of 1953 is well before my time. That 32 pages is history that I did hear about. The second a 32 page 1960 Plain Dealer, This Week Magazine, which was a regular issue probably included in the Sunday paper. Next is the 64 page magazine style, Greater Cleveland Growthland, from the Plain Dealer, Sunday July 29, 1962, emphasizing growth of the City at the time. Lastly is a 12 page special on the big snow storm of 1977 with record low temps. I was gone by then. All the paper as I said are readable but just some have a bit of tattering at. the edges. Great reading!!!
