Description: Beautiful set of four ornate Sad iron trivets. Three are black and one is a rusty color. One is from the 1800s with the date 1894 in the design. These were used to hold an old heavy clothes iron that was heated on a wood burning stove also called Sad iron. All four are roughly the same size measuring approximately 8.5" long by 3.3/4" wide.
