Description: I bought a 1/2 gallon jar of marbles at a garage sale in the late 1980's. They were very colorful and reminded me of my childhood. The man selling them said his boys no longer played with them. Since his oldest boy was 23, and children usually aren't allowed to play with marbles until about 5 years old, the collection dates to 1970. I do not know if any marbles are older. I do not know the manufacturer. I bought them to use as decor.
