Description: LLADRO #7553, Limited Edition 1994 Cinderella and her Fairy Godmother Lladro figurine of Cinderella sitting on the ground in front of her Fairy Godmother. Next to her is the pumpkin that will soon become the carriage that takes her to the ball where she meets her Prince Charming. Issued in a Limited Edition of just 2500 figurines, of which this is number 111 (a fairly low number). Created for and sold at the Disneyana Convention in 1994 which was held at Walt Disney World near Orlando, Florida. Nicely detailed in the Lladro tradition. Designed by Fulgencio Garcia. Approximately 8.75 inches, 8 inches wide and 8.5 inches deep. This figurine was signed by Mari Carmen Lladro, daughter of one of the founding Lladro brothers. She underwent extensive training before joining the Lladro company and often represented the Lladro family at official Lladro events. According to the Prudent Collector website: “Some of the most coveted Lladros are those that have been signed by the artists that designed them. And occasionally you’ll even find a figurine or sculpture autographed by one of the members of the Lladro family! These figurines are generally only signed at exclusive Lladro events which adds to their rarity and value.
