Kiwi Acoustic Resonance System (KARS) KARS is no gimmick - its a discrete bandpass filter that manipulates airflow to the drivers and adjusts low frequency output. This patented innovation features an intricate, labyrinth-like tube network designed based on multiple scientific and physical models to perfectly calculate the proper resonance points for the Singolo drivers. KARS delivers a tight sub-bass shelf previously impossible in a single driver IEM. The quality, quantity and texture of the bass is unmatched when compared to other tuning strategies used in similar driver formats. Unlike traditional crossover networks that use multiple conventional drivers and RC (resistor-capacitor) networks, KARS uses Helmholtz resonance to tune. Airflow to the dynamic driver regulates how responsive the diaphragm can be, but also requires additional calculations of flow, direction, and volume. LCP provides the perfect balance between stiffness for sharp transient response and natural tonality. By implementing KARS, this driver is precision-tuned purely using acoustic dynamics, meaning the sound you hear is purely from the driver. Singolo is tuned according to the Clinacle tone signature, a synthesis of the best tuning profiles found in the worlds most successful earphones of the past. Featuring an 8dB sub-bass shelf, the bass is very strong and powerful, but with a clean cut at 300Hz.
