Description: Here is a really interesting 84 year old vintage Life magazine for the week of November 12, 1940. Michigan’s Tom Harmon football player is featured on the front cover. There 136 pages in this issue and it is profusely illustrated with black and white illustrations and many colored vintage car and other advertisements. There are lots of photographs and articles about the second world war in Europe including Adolf Hitler and his allies, Russia’s invasion of Finland, bombings in Great Britain and the Japanese. Acceptable condition - the covers have become separated from the body of the magazine - the cover wore through at the binding staples. Front and back covers are still attached at the seam but have become unattached from the body of the magazine. There is a tiny disturbance mark about a quarter inch wide and one inch long on the picture of the turkey in the Bird’s Eye frozen food advertisement - from the pages being stuck to other page by a glue spot? There are some minor creases in the top right corner of the front cover . Slight rough edge on the right side of covers. No owner’s name., no address label, no writing, no underlining, no other creases, no dog ears, no odors. Interior pages are tight and intact. Please see all photos for the best description of the condition of this magazine. Thank you for looking. Please check my other items of interest listed for this week.
