For that reason, the colors in the photos should be considered representational. Similarly, most of the items I sell here are handmade and hand painted by different artists in various time periods. Unlike mass-produced ware, allowing for some minor variation in both color and design from pieces you've seen, or may already own, is only reasonable. No two pieces are exactly identical, although, by and large, the precision between like items is uncanny. I stand in awe at the level of artistry exhibited by every one of these crafts persons. Most of the crystal and porcelain items I list I've acquired from estates. A few I've acquired at auctions. In either case, they are pre-owned items, and with rare (and noted, see above) exception, they are in excellent condition with virtually no observable wear. But please know that there may exist some very minor but certainly acceptable wear commensurate with the age of the piece. I am neither selling nor pricing these as new items, even though they are often in like-new condition.
