The casting of our taps is superb as can be seen in the pictures. Don't mess about trying to clean out your old tap and seal. Old petrol tends to crystallise inside fuel taps and the rubber seals can break down or split over time. Our taps are as good as you are going to buy, I've searched high and low for a long time for taps for these bikes that are just right and these are the best! I personally check each tap before dispatch for any casting errors and to date, I have had no returns or issues with my supplier and manufacturer. Nobody who has bought these from me has had a problem with fuel flow or quality. Fitting this will eradicate all the usual problems of the vacuum not working and fuel not flowing or leaking taps. Technical specifications: * The nut takes a 22mm spanner to undo * 6mm Fuel Line which is the top connection. * Filter Length: 50mm from the end of the nut * Thread Size: M16 x1.5 or 16mm thread across your tank stub. CHECK YOUR ONE * The vacuum pipe is fitted on the bottom connection. We recommend that you replace your old fuel pipe if it has hardened or cracked. We sell very good quality 6mm clear heavy wall thickness pipe. See our other listings. These taps are very well made with very good casting material and tolerances, they are not made from 'monkey metal' like lots of other cheap taps are. I've bought them! My taps include the internal syphon pipe which is also a filter. I wouldn't recommend relying on that as you don't want to be removing this tap once it's fitted and sealed so I would recommend that you fit an inline filter too.
