(The Original Broadway production opened March 13th, 1947 at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City and ran for 581 performances. The Original West End production opened April 14th, 1949 at His Majesty's Theatre in London and ran for 685 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) .....
