Minted entirely by Northwest Territorial Mint out of Dayton, Nevada. NWT Mint is the largest private Mint in the world. The Arabian Stallion This is the first bas relief in the “Equus Series” by the International equine sculptor, Debbi LerMond, for the .999 Fine Silver Round edition to commemorate the Sheng Xiao “Chinese zodiac” for 2014, the Year of the Horse. Utilizing her 50+ years of involvement with this noble breed, Debbi wanted her first edition to showcase the beautiful head which sets the Arabian apart from any other breed of horse. She was inspired by a captivating photo of the Arabian stallion, Najjar and knew he would be befitting for her first Silver Round edition. This Limited Edition of 200 of one Troy ounce of .999 Fine Silver Rounds is sequentially numbered on the edge to insure the authenticity of the sculptor’s work. Packaging Every Silver Round is encased in a protective clear Air-Tite capsule to showcase the intricate details of the round on both sides and the reeded edge. An elegant blue Leatherette presentation display case with gold stamp imprinted with the Equus Series logo and velvet interior adds beauty and protection to this silver collector round. To further protect the Leatherette case, a high gloss white box sleeve gold imprinted with the same logo is included. For 2014, the Year of the Horse, the Fixed Element of Fire, coupled with the Year Element of Wood brings a double Yang (+) significance to reaching onwards and upwards, planning ahead for this first Silver Round edition in the Equus Series by Debbi LerMond. About the sculptor Debbi LerMond - A Washington State native born in Seattle, Debbi has had a lifelong association with horses, riding them before she could walk. Her love of horses developed when she began carving them as a child. She maintained that love through the years by sculpting horses in various mediums including wood, clay, leather, ceramic, resin, bronze, silver, and gold. Her limited edition sculptures commenced in 1980 and have since sold out to prominent collectors Worldwide. Debbi’s bronze horses were featured in the 1984 documentary, “The Creation of National Treasures” and is on display in the Museum of Man, and in the video below. Debbi’s fondness in particular for the Arabian horse spans 5 decades of raising, training, breeding and showing National quality Arabian horses in Washington state. Using her own horses as inspiration and models, Debbi has created some of the most attractive and sought after equine sculptures in the World to this date. In 1984, Debbi was known as Debbi Moss The Obverse The Arabian is a head study which depicts the beauty of the Arabian horse from around the world. Sculpted to portray the exotic look that is the unmistakable hallmark of this oldest of Purebred horses, sculptor, Debbi LerMond was inspired by the captivating spirit of the senior sire of Koo Arabians, Najjar and used him as the model for her first Silver Round Edition. Proving that beauty goes beyond looks, this magnificent horse is a Champion in halter and performance. The Reverse The Equus Series Silver Round is fashioned from the HMS Unbridled badge, the design shows an Arabian horse jumping through a rope frame. The frame is topped by a crown and Debbi’s company name, Unbridled, LLC. A ribbon drapes the bottom with the phrase “Pro Libertate” (For Freedom).
