Description: Tested this with three double "A" batteries and all the lights worked. You can also use an adapter to power but I did not have the correct type to test. Using an adapter will give you a much brighter light on the decorations. This is a very fragile piece that Lemax didn't do the best job of packaging. I will put some bubble wrap on the inside of the box around to cut down on the amount of vibration during shipment. Shipping is free but this item has no returns. Thanks for looking.
