There is no base plate included. In total 1000 pieces were made to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Leica Historical Society of America. Camera is new in the box and unused. Of course no dings or dents. Finder is bright and clear. Lens elements are clean. No haze, fog, scratches or cleaning marks. I purchased this set in 2004 and added it to my collection , which we stored in an air conditioned , humidity controlled, non smoking environment.
