This is because 95% of them were obtained personally by my Dad. To him being a teenager in the 1990's & regularly writing to the club & asking for these items to be signed. To visiting Peter Lorimer's Pub as a young man & after 2 pints having the courage to ask him to sign a few, then after 4 pints having the courage to ask him anything, including if he could get other players signatures, which he did, but only a couple.But the biggest help was the fact the my Grandad worked with Allan Clarke (this certainly doesn't happen anymore - star strikers having regiular jobs after their playing career!) - Allan personally took a lot of the A&BC & Topps cards & came back with almost all the signatures from the great late 60's / early 70's team which he had taken to a players renunion dinner, approximately 1990. A&BC & Topps cards signed in biro were got for us by AC himself. He would regularly keep in touch with him by mail whilst TC was working as a scout in Spain. This is why a few of the TC signatures are personalised. A very small number, maybe 20 maximum, were bought online when it first became popular, some came with COA's.
