These books have become timeless classics, and tell the story of Laura's childhood, growing up in the wilderness of the prairies and beyond. These books are all previously owned, none are ex-library, and all are in very good or better condition. They are published by Harper and Row and are typically printings from the mid 1970, 80s and later. The main 9 books are picture covers that match their dust jackets. The titles are as follows: Little House in the Big Woods Farmer Boy Little House on the Prairie On the Banks of Plum Creek By the Shores of Silver Lake The Long Winter Little Town on the Prairie These Happy Golden Years The First Four Years (published posthumously) Rose Wilder Lane - by Lane/MacBride Young Pioneers - Rose Wilder Lane (previously published as "Let the Hurricane Roar) The first 9 titles have the vintage yellow endpapers. Four books have previous owner's names or gift inscriptions. Some books have very minor wear or staining to the closed page edges. All dust jackets are protected in new mylar sleeves. Note there is some glare in some of the photos due to the light shining on the mylar jacket covers. As as lovely bonus, included are two autographs from illustrator, Garth Williams. One is dated and is on a title page from "Little House in the Big Woods." It's unknown if this was a publisher's publicity sheet or if it was cut from a copy of the book. The second autograph is on a small 2" by 3" slip of paper. Both autographs were found tucked inside a Little House book, and are un-autheicated, but appear to be genuine.
