This weighs 10.00 CTS and has been cut into an oval shape. The measurements are approximately 15.5 x 11.7 x 7.7 mm. The stone has a vibrant green coloring and an attractive glassy luster. The surface has been brilliantly polished to a high sheen, and displays a good amount of translucency. A noticeable luminosity is also evident when viewing the gem. There is no major flaws but does have natural inclusions and variations as shown in pictures. This is very typical of genuine emeralds. The overall condition is very good but does have one tiny rough spot along one side. We have tried to magnify this in the larger photos. Please note that this is not a doublet or filled product, this is a naturally earth mined stone that is free of any treatment. There has been no external oiling to the best of our knowledge, however emeralds are typically placed on mineral oil at the source mines.
