Description: Very nice stunning large Ford advertising porcelain sign approximately 40.5'' tall tapered down. Sign had been used previously inside for my own use however I'm aiming to sell it for the right price. I've seen this sign everywhere including mecum auctions the original neons signs are 50k this is solid porcelain however it's not original neon skin from 1930s but it's still a stunning Ford sign don't know the background on it but it's very heavy porcelain don't see many like this for sale this large I've seen the smaller ones for 150 $200 that's why I purchased this one. This sign has 11 mounting holes which is kinda odd most sign companies make the mounting holes even like 6 or 8 or 10 The sign measures 20" at widest point and tapers form 20" down to 10" so it's really cool very nice colors not faded. I would like to put neon on the sign however it just cost so much but if I did that it would bring 3 or 4k additionally to the sign. The shipping is high and it takes time to do the neon so I've just decided to let it go. It's one the largest Ford signs I've got.. I have cleaned the sign up pretty good however it will clean up better if needed but you may have to apply some special sign cleaner on the porcelain i like to leave them as they appear.
