Description: You are bidding for a super hardwood carving of a Musician as follows.Description: I am offering for sale this beautiful hand carved figure of a musician which I have owned for some 30 years plus. Carved from one large piece of hardwood, no joins or sections added, a super piece which displays very well indeed. It is extremely heavy weighing around 7kg un-packed & standing 18ins in height as can be seen in one of the pictures on the site. Some of the original strings to the instrument were broken so I removed them all, I waxed & oiled the figure with great care & replaced all of the strings with old fine line which I managed to obtain, very hard to see the difference between new & original. I am very pleased with the end result. Now all it needs is a new home where someone will love it as much as I have over the years. Condition: No visible damage, lightly restored as mentioned above, a really nice item. Please remember this is a piece of hand made, carved piece of art Art, it will have its minor blemishes which is all part of its history, it is what it is, a super hand carved.
