Description: As a sedimentary Geologist, years ago I stopped in at the Oxford Assaying & Refining in Anchorage Alaska and bought various larger gold nuggets and smaller pieces of native placer gold. Oxford Assaying & Refining informed me all of these pieces of gold were bought from various placer mines across Alaska. These nuggets are some of the ones I bought. The weight of these nuggets are 5.75 grams. Nice showing display nuggets. Note: Alaskan placer nuggets are generally between 20K and 22K pure gold.
