Description: This exquisite large cigar humidor is a rare find for collectors of antique French furniture. The two tone fruitwood cigar box is made of walnut and burl and has sturdy iron handles. The inner side of the lid is felt lined and has a glass hygrometer. The box has a removable tray with adjustable storage dividers which can be placed as desired to arrange your cigar collection. There is an ornate lock at the front of the box but no key. There is a maker's mark on the inner lid which has rubbed low so that I cannot make it out. I can see a French postcode for 73370, Le Bourget-du-Lac The stylish design and French origin of this humidor make it a perfect addition to any collection of antique woodenware. The box is ideal for storing cigars or other small items and will add a touch of elegance to any room. Approx. dimensions - 63cm W x 43cm D x 15cm H Weight - 8.7kg In good used condition with surface marks and wear commensurate with age and use. The hinges and handles are in good order.
