Description: This large bronze incense burner comes in two separate pieces. It measures approximately 8" at the main part of the body, 10-5/8" from ear to ear, and 5" in height. The weight is 2,814 grams (6 lb and 3.26 oz). The piece is accompanied by a custom-fit silk box, which measures 12.5" wide, 7.5" high, and 9.75" deep. The exact age of the piece is unknown, but the seal on the base indicates it is from the Ming Dynasty (ruled from 1368 to 1644). Although I don't know much about these items, my lack of expertise could be to your benefit. The beautiful patina on the piece can only come with age.To avoid any unforeseen damage, I do not clean my pieces.
