Description: ONE LARGE ANTIQUE FLUSH MOUNT TRUNK LATCH or CATCH. SIZE: 6 1/8" tall x 3 1/4"wide to the edges when together. 2 3/4" from center hole to hole at the top of the bottom piece. One (1) large size antique trunk latch in very good used condition. Strong stamped steel base and a cast iron lid lifter style top. Worn black paint finish, easy to repaint if desired. A style used from the 1880's to the 1920's. Complete and works well. Please see all pictures for condition and design details. Attach with trunk nails and/or rivets. Only one available.
