Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique Mirror. I can ship this or can be picked up in Darrington, WA. This is a fabulous Large Vintage Victorian Style Gold Leaf Wall Mirror. Bevelled Mirror. This is from the Willow Creek Collection. It is vintage and dated to the 1990s. Beautifully carved early 1900s mirror. Dates 1900-1920s. I list this as carved Wood and gesso, but I think it is just carved wood. Nice ornate round mirror with carved base crest. Scrolls and leaves around the frame. This was originally a gold frame. It was painted a burgundy color with some black highlights long ago(probably going for a faux mahogany look). Thick round mirror glass. Antique. Around 100 years old. I do not see any breaks or repairs. Carved wood frame was originally gold and was painted long ago a burgundy color with black highlights. Has original credit brace on back. Heavy mirror glass. Mirror now duct taped to frame on back. Has 2 nails holding a thick string for hanging. I would suggest replacing the nails with screw eyelits to hold string better as it is a heavy mirror. Has a few minor areas of paint loss. Displays beautifully. Nice ornate carved mirror that is about 100 years old. The mirror glass is about 22" in diameter.
