Only the wooden base is sealed with Art Resin food-safe epoxy. These mugs are all natural so size, shape, and colors vary in each unique piece. Mugs are 6" tall. Size choice is available at check out. In regard to color, please be aware we are using a 100% naturally occurring material. We do not add to or influence the color or appearance of the horn used in constructing these mugs. We will do our best to accommodate special requests. Include a note with your order for requests. Only "Hot Safe Mugs" have an additional coating to the exterior that protect them from hot contents. The others do not have this additional coat. Non of our horns are dishwasher safe. Hand wash only. Please keep in mind we use 100% natural horn. Each mug will be different. Every piece of horn we use to make the mugs is different. Naturally occurring marks, weathering, scratches, scuffs, scaring, flaking, exposed layers are a normal part of the life cycle of the horn.
