Frontispiece portrait of Andrews, engraved headpieces and initial capitals throughout. Wing A3142. Some scuffing and wear to the leather at the corners, spine ends, and spine bands. Spine leather also dry and flaking a bit. Rear board with a horizontal scratch. Small hole to leather near tail of spine. Signature of Robert Gathrone-Hardy to front pastedown. Contemporary ownership signature to title page. Dampstain visible at bottom gutter at the title page and occasionally in the interior, with another dampstain visible at the upper margin in places. Small piece of upper corner of title page torn away. Interior with the occasional stray smudge or small stain, and with some small marginal stains to the table of contents at the rear.
