They are priced at £2,750 for the large example and £2,550 for the very slightly smaller version. These are genuine inter-war Art Deco period pieces in perfect condition. Note: These are extremely rare as only a handful were produced as illustrated and described in both the Felix Marcilhac Lalique glass reference work and Unique Lalique Mascots books Vol's 1 to 3. The other with an Eagle and an Archer car mascot with 'Lalique' etched on it. We also have this near matching pair of these 'EXHIBITION OF THE GLASS OF R. LALIQUE' (in block capitals) plaques, however one is slightly larger than the other but both date from the inter-war period and would have been used in house and at the various public displays of Lalique glass especially at the well known Paris Art Deco exhibition of 1925 to promote Lalique glass ware including the car mascots and desk ornaments. We have a few inter-war, post war and modern Lalique promotional labels as shown here both in pressed glass and modern plastics. We have a large collection of Lalique pre and post war grey boxes with the Lalique logo on them including some modern black examples all with the inner sponge linings and factory inspection certificates as well that came with them. We have three superb display cases, one with a four tier revolving glass display stand and two upright examples and one counter display case for showing the mascots, desk ornaments and boxes to their best advantage. These items all all ex-Lalique boutique in Paris that were purchased by us when the premises were refurbished some years ago. We have a few circular display bases powered by the mains and can be used with batteries (see our other items).
