Description: Lake Madison Chautauqua - South Dakota Rare Admission Ticket (ca. 1899-1902) Offered is an antique adult admission ticket to Lake Madison Chautauqua. It measures 5 1/2" x 2 11/16". There's a vertical perforation along the dashed line, 1 1/16" from the left edge. The perforation has not been disturbed or bent. There are no creases, handwriting, or added ink marks. Slight, overall discoloration from age. Very slight corner wear. The reproduced signatures that appear on the ticket include H.P. Smith, President, and J.C. McClain, Secretary. Smith and McClain were elected to these roles in July 1899. McClain was not Secretary during the second-half of 1902, so I estimate this to date between 1899-1902.
