Description: Made after the famous 15th Century tapestry called La Chasse A La Licorne (The Unicorn Tapestries or the Hunt of the Unicorn), this is a set of 2 decorative plates each featuring two of the seven tapestries in the set: "The Hunters Return to the Castle" and "The Unicorn Purifies Water". Plates were made in Limoges, France by Robert Haviland C. Parlon in 1970s and were a limited edition. Each plate is dated and numbered. 10" dia and in great vintage condition, no chips or cracks
