KYDEX SHEATH with T-CLIP for VINTAGE WESTERN G-46-8 FIGHTING KNIFE, WEST036

Description: HAND MADE KYDEX SHEATH Hand made by me to fit the vintage Western Pat'd G-46-8 Fighting knife that has 8" blade that is 1 1/4" wide and 11/64" thick. Please note that these old military type knives may vary enough to require a little careful fitting of the throat area where it contacts the thin sheet steel guard on the knife. You may want to do some research about adjusting kydex and if you are not comfortable with the process you may want to look for a different kind of sheath. Includes Terzuola design T-CLIP for left hand or right hand carry on up to 1 3/4" belt. The clip will mount horizontally but the knife may not balance well that way. Adjusting the spacer bar to fit the belt tightly may help with horizontal carry. 3/4" eyelet spacing would allow you to substitute your own compatible clip. .080 Coyote Tan Boltaron (kydex) For replacement of the sheath that comes with the knife. You may want to use this sheath in the outdoors and keep the original sheath pristine. Or maybe the dog ate your original sheath.... Pictures are of the sheath you will receive so look carefully. The sheath only fits this particular model. As is normal with Kydex, you may need to gently heat the throat and adjust the fit of the handle as your knife may be more or less worn than the one that I used for a form. NOTE: Kydex is a hard material that is normally used for outdoor carry. It will probably leave marking on the blade or handle of the knife so don't use it for collectible knives that you are trying to keep brand new. NOTE: you are buying one sheath. Knife is NOT included. Please note that belt clips including Tek-Lok, Dots-Lok and G-Clip are all mounted behind the blade and will cause the sheath to ride high.
