The body is a late 1983-1984 Kramer JK1000. During this period ESP was manufacturing the JK1000 Guitars for Japan market only. The first run of JK1000 with an "A" neck plate serial number were the best of the best. These I believe were manufactured in the ESP Tokyo shop with the upmost care for the talented luthiers there. The neck is an AXN Guitar Holy Grail Baretta neck. As you know my AXN 1983 Baretta necks were cloned from several 1983 Kramer Barettas that we had in my shop. Every specification is EXACTLY the same as a Kramer 1983 Baretta. No Kramer reissue guitar has ever had the exact 1983 Baretta neck profile. They have just never recreated the sought after neck profile in any reissue under any corporate ownership .. never.. non of the reissues have the EVH 1983 baretta neck specifications. Its kinda funny in a way. So there it is. If you want to experience the EVH neck profile here it is. All on a grade AAA maple/maple neck that made in the USA! My AXN neck also has the exact headstock not the inaccurate headstocks put on the reissues. This neck is about neck shape, neck profile, fret size, neck radius ( flatness ), headstock shape, and neck fretboard width at fret Numbers 1,3,5,7,9,12 and fret 14. I have it right and 100% accurate to the 1983 Signature model Kramer Baretta! You won’t be disappointed in this handmade luthier grade neck! Its actually F_ing amazing, bitchen AF and fun to play with the R5 1-3/4" nut!
